1800 24 Feb - enlisted into the Second Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Artillery (ref 1219)
1816 30 Jun - discharged at Woolwich from the above 'in consequence of Reduction is placed on the Pension List at Five Pence per day in Virtue of the regulations of 1806'. This was increased to 1s per day by Board's Order on 27 Sep 1816. He is described as about 36 years of age, five feet eight inches high, brown hair, grey eyes, fair complexion. By trade a Cutler. He served 16 years 134 days as a Gunner and 1 year and 48 days as a corporal and Bombadier.
