All the rest residue and remainer of my Effects Both Real and Personall of what nature or kind soever, Whatsoever or Wheresoever I give to my Son John Hully and His Heirs Chargeing him or his heirs with the payment of all my just Debts Funeral expences and the Legocyes herin after mentioned. Viz I give to my beloved Wife Ellin the Sum of Twenty Pounds. I do give to my Daughter Mary Wife of John Tunstall and her heires the sum of One Hundred and Fifty Pounds. I give to my Daughter Sarah Wife of JohnTomson and her heires the Sum of One Hundred and Fifty Pounds. I give unto my Niece Ann Wife of Robert Grime and her heires the Sum of One Hundred and Fifty Pounds. All which sade sums I Order and Direct shall be payed, One half at the expiration of Six the Other half twelve Months after my Death. 22. Sarah Hully
Note no baptismal record has been found for this person. She has been placed in this family group because of the evidence from her marriage entry - see below. Mary was her sister who married John Tunstall in 1775. The relationship of Thomas Hully is less clear; he may have been an elder brother but more likely to have been a less close relation. A Thomas Hully of Tatham, son of Francis of the same, weaver, is shown in the 184-85 list of Free Burgesses of Lancaster 1668-1840 .

annuity or yearly sum of fifteen pounds which from thenceforth is to cease and not be paid And it is my will and mind and I do hereby accordingly order and direct that the said annuity or yearly sum but one then unto such only child And I do hereby give and bequeath unto my elder daughter Elizabeth now the wife of Edward Adlington the like sum of two hundred pounds except only so much thereof or such sums of money as already have been paid by me or as shall at any time or times hereafter be paid by me or the executors of this my will on account of the costs and expences of or concerning a certain action at Law lately commenced and carried on by me against the said Edward Adlington wherein a verdict was given for me at the last General Session of Assizes at Lancaster aforesaid with the sum of two hundred pounds as damages The same legacy to be paid and payable when my said daughter Bridget shall have attained her age of twenty on years or upon her decease which shall first happen And it my will and mind and I do hereby accordingly order and direct that the legacy or sum of money hereby given and bequeathed unto my said daughter Elizabeth shall not be subject or liable to the debts engagements forfeiture control or disposal of her said husband in any wise and that her receipt alone notwithstanding her coverture shall be a sufficient discharge for the same or for so much thereof as for which such receipt shall be given or as therein shall be expressed to be received And at the decease or marriage again of my said wife which shall first happen I do hereby give and bequeath unto and equally between my said two sons William Hully and Christopher Hully all my said household goods and furniture the use and enjoyment whereof is hereby given and bequeathed unto my said wife during her life if so long she shall remain unmarried as aforesaid And as for and concerning all the rest residue and remainder of my household and other goods chattels ready money securities for money and personal estate of what kind or nature soever the same be I do hereby give and bequeath the same unto and equally between my said two sons William Hully and Christopher Hully share and share alike subject only to the payment of all my just debts my funeral expences and the charges of the probate of this my will which I do order and direct to be paid and discharged in the first place out of the same And I do hereby nominate and appoint my said two sons William Hully and Christopher Hully executors of this my Will and I do hereby revoke and make void all former Wills by I Christopher Hully of Lancaster in the County of Lancaster linen manufacturer being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following that is to say As for and concerning my two dwelling houses and workshop situate standing and being in Lancaster aforesaid and in a certain street or place there called Mackerall street or Spring garden with the appurtenances I do hereby give and devise the same and all my estate and interest therein both at Law and in Equity unto and to the use of my two sons William Hully and Christopher Hully their heirs and assigns for ever as tenants in common and not as joint tenants And I do hereby give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Jane the use and enjoyment of such a feather bed bedstead bedhangings two pairs of sheets and bedcloathes for one bed and of such other household furniture as she shall chuse and as shall be no more than sufficient and proper for furnishing a room for her own residence and occupation during the term of her natural life if so long she shall remain unmarried And I do hereby also give and bequeath unto her my said wife out of my personal estate 1794 14 Feb - made Will: I Thomas Hully of Beck-grains in Mewith in the parish of Bentham and County of York Linen-weaver being of sound, perfect and disposing Mind Memory and Understanding (praised be to God for the same) do make publish and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say,
In the first place I do give and bequeath unto my Sister Elizabeth the Wife of Thomas Dowbiggin the sum of Four Pounds yearly (being the Interest arising from One Hundred Pounds hereafter by me given and bequeathed) to be duly paid to her by my Executor hereafter named during the natural Life of her Husband Thomas Dowbiggin if she happens to survive her said Husband, and also in case she survive him the said Thomas Dowbiggin I do bequeath the said Principal sum of One Hundred Pounds to my aforesaid sister Elizabeth Dowbiggin to be at her Disposal if she so long fortune to live, but in Case of her Death before him the said Thomas Dowbiggin I do hereby postively order and direct the same Principal Sum of One Hundred Pounds to be equally divided amongst the Children of her (Elizabeth Dowbiggin aforesaid) share and share alike - I do also further give and bequeath to my Brother John Hully the Sum of Twenty Pounds - Likewise I give and bequeath unto Ellen the Widow of Francis Hully Deceased, and to her Son John Hully the Younger of Graystonegill the Sum of One Pound and One Shilling Each - I also further bequeath to Mary the Wife of John Tunstall, Sarah the Wife of John Thompson, and Elizabeth the Wife of Moses Marshall the Sum of One Pound and One Shilling Each - And I further give and bequeath unto Francis the son of John Hully and Catherine Hully his Daughter Each the Sum of One Guinea All which said Legacies (the first only excepted) I do hereby positively order and direct shall be paid by my Executor at the End of Twelve Months next after my Decease All the Rest Residue and Remainder of my personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever after my just Debts, said Legacies Costs of Probat of this my last Will and Testament and Funeral Expences be paid and discharged I do give and bequeath to my Brother Christopher Hully of Lancaster who I nominate constitute and appoint sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Thomas Hully have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the Fourteenth Day of February in the Year of our Lord One Thousand seven Hundred and Ninety four.
