1627 30 Jan - father in law Francis made will: Francis Hulley of Mealbanke within the parish of Tatham
and County of Lancaster yeoman.
Main points - to be buried in Tatham parish church;
- beneficaries - son Richard all my whole goodsand my husbandry geare;
- Mary Dittonsen one emintor heffer not hath taken the bull;
- brother Leonard Hulley and his sonne one mhye stirke of one year old;
- evy one of my sisters children 12d;
- son in law William Smith children every one of them 12d;
- James Stayringe two children 12d each;
- William Willworke children evry one of them 12d;
- every godchild 12d;
- Francis Walker 3s;
- all the residue of my goods to my wife Elizabeth;
- supervisors - Richard Chatborne and neighbour John Smith;
- witnesses - John Smith, James Stayring, Richard Chatborne, William Wilkorke.
Other points - son Richard was under 21 at the date of the will.
- Francis described himself as ' sicke in body but nevrthelesse of pfect Remembrance'.

11. Richard Hully

Note by Alfred Hully b 1918.
These particulars have not been linked conclusively with the main tree of the Hully family but the repetition of names suggests a strong link. Richard who married Margaret and died in 1682 was very probably the father of Richard wheo married Ellen Hathornhat in 1687 and died in 1702.
