1625 4 Feb - married at St James the Less church Tatham: Francis Hully & Elizebeth Dickonson.
1627 30 Jan - made will: Francis Hulley of Mealbanke within the parish of Tatham and County of Lancaster yeoman. In the name god, Amen. The XXXth day of Januarie Anno dom 1627. Anno Regni Regis Charoli tertio, I FRANCIS HULLEY of Mealbanke within the pishe of Tatham & County of Lancaster yeoman sicke in body nevrthelesse of pfect Remembrance prayse to the allmighty god do make this my last will & Testament in manr. & forme followinge, first & pricipaly I commend my Soule unto almightie god my maker & redeemer, and my body to be buried in the pishe Church Yard of Tatham near unto my Ancestors & all dues and duties to be done as they are due & of Right accustomed. First I give unto my Sonne RICHARD HULLEY xl to be taken ?....? of my whole goods to be set forwards wth him, also all my husbandry geare, Also I give unto MARY DITTONSEN one emintor heffer not hath taken the bull, Also I give unto my brother LEONARD HULLEY wth & to his Sonne one mhye Stirke of one yeare old Also I give unto evy one of my Sisters Children xiid. also I give unto my Sonne in law WILLIAM SMITH children evry one of them xiid, Also I give I give unto JAMES STAYRINGE two Children xiid apeece. Also I give unto WILLIAM WILLWORKE children evry one of them xiid. Also I give unto evry one that I am godfather unto xiid, Also I give unto FRANCIS WALKER iijs, Also that my will is that all my debts legacies & funerall expenses be taken out of my whole estate, The legacie before given to unto my Sonne RICHARD HULLEY excepted All the Residue of my goodes movable and immovable ?...... & ?....... lawfull to be carried away I give them unto my wife ELIZABETH HULLEY and unto my Sonne RICHARD HULLEY whom I do make & constitute to be my full & whole executors of this my last will and Testament also my will is that ELIZABETH HULLEY my wife shall have the Tuisshon my sonne RICHARD HULLEY until he come to lawful yeares of age, And I desire RICHARD CHATBORNE & my neighbour JOHN SMITH to be supvisors of this my last will & Testament And to take the plth into their hands & to set it forth to the use of my Sonne, and to see my will truely pformed & executed as my trust is in them. Witnesseth hereof JOHN SMITH, JAMES STAYRING, RICHARD CHATBORNE, WILLIAM WILKORKE.

Main points - to be buried in Tatham parish church; - beneficaries - son Richard all my whole goodsand my husbandry geare; - Mary Dittonsen one emintor heffer not hath taken the bull; - brother Leonard Hulley and his sonne one mhye stirke of one year old; - evy one of my sisters children 12d; - son in law William Smith children every one of them 12d; - James Stayringe two children 12d each; - William Willworke children evry one of them 12d; - every godchild 12d; - Francis Walker 3s; - all the residue of my goods to my wife Elizabeth; - supervisors - Richard Chatborne and neighbour John Smith; - witnesses - John Smith, James Stayring, Richard Chatborne, William Wilkorke.
