What I am trying to do is to just gather information on my ancestors back in England. I
have been able to establish that my first ancestors, who came from Ashton under Lyne,
to arrive in Australia in 1864 were a Ralph Clough and Jane Hulley with 4 children
named Daniel, Mary Ann, Elizabeth A. and James H. They were married (we think) in
Manchester Cathedral on 16/1/1848. The only information I have on Ralph's is that he had a sister called Ann and his
parents names were Ralph Clough and Elizabeth (unknown surname) and that they
were married in St. Michael's on the 21/3/1821. I also believe that the four children of
Ralph and Jane may have been baptised/christened in the same church.

married in St. Michael's on the 21/3/1821. I also believe that the four children of Ralph
and Jane may have been baptised/christened in the same church.
