Ches16 - Descendants of James Hooley who was born at Adlington c1781
This family tree traces the descendants of the above person to the 1901 census. The main occupation of male members was coal mining which was still practised in the 20th century. The family lived in Norbury near Stockport for most of the period researched although David, a great grandson and a miner finished up in Radcliffe.

Lennart Damm, a Swedish contact who is researching his Cheshire ancestors, has sent a copy of the 1809 marriage entry for James Hooley and Jane Fitton.
