25. James Hulley
Note: the ancestry of James Hulley has been difficult to trace but the major clue was the discovery of a baptism of James Ridley Hulley to his son Thomas at Frodsham in 1818. Ridley was the surname of James Hulley's wife Betty so it was a reasonable assumption that Thomas had named his son after his grandmother. It appears that he started his married life in the Prestbury /Macclesfield area, had 2 children there before moving to Frodsham c1780 where he had a further 2 children. He, his wife and first child Mary were buried at St Peter's church Prestbury.
